Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Forest Guard: Minimum 10th pass from a recognized board
• Forester: Minimum 12th pass
• Surveyor: 12th pass and ITI in Civil Surveyer or Diploma in Civil Engineering

All candidates must know written Hindi (Devanagari script) and be aware of Rajasthan’s cultural heritage  .

Age Limit (As of January 1, 2026)

• Forest Guard: 18–24 years
• Forester/Surveyor: 18–40 years
• Relaxation applicable as per government norms.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination

• 100 multiple-choice questions (1 mark each).
• Subject: General Knowledge , Daily Science , Mathematics, Reasoning, General Intelligence.
• Time: 2 hours; 1/3 negative if wrong answer.

2. Physical Standards & Efficiency Tests (PST/PET)

• PST (Physical measurements):

1. Male: Height 163 cm; Chest 84 cm (expanded 89 cm)
2. Female: Height 150 cm; Weight minimum 47.5 kg

• PET:

1. Male: 25 km walk in 4 hrs, 25 sit-ups in 1 min, 55 m cricket-ball throw
2. Female: 16 km walk in 4 hrs, standing broad jump 1.35 m, 4.5 m shot put (4 kg)

Salary & Career Progression

Selected candidates will be absorbed under Pay Matrix Level 4 of the 7th Pay Commission. The starting salary ranges from approximately ₹20,200 to ₹65,000 per month  .
